The Jupio UDC0040 is a 30 Watt USB charger with GaN (Galliumnitride) technology, for reliable and quick charging of all your USB-A or USB-C devices. Thanks to the GaN technology, this charger is considerably smaller than a standard charger, the charger produces less heat and at the same time is more powerful.
The USB-A port is a so-called Quick Charge (QC 3.0) port, which transmits higher voltages up to 12V for faster charging of the connected devices. The USB-C port is a Power Delivery (PD) port and can handle even higher voltages up to 20V. Charging via this USB-C port is even faster than via the USB-A port.
The UDC0040 even has a more advanced version of Power Delivery, called PPS. This stands for Programmable Power Supply. The voltage and charging current can be modified in real time, resulting in maximum power, depending on the charging status of the device that is charged. The main advantage is that less heat is generated due to less conversion loss during charging. In other words: the UDC0040 charges more efficient, faster and lengthens the device battery’s lifespan.
